وَحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ
سَمِعْتُ شُيُوخَ أَهْلِ الدَّارِ يَعْنِي بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ يَقُولُونَ «مَاتَ أَبُو الْهَيْثَمِ بْنُ التَّيْهَانِ سَنَةَ عِشْرِينَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ»
Translation

✧ I heard the elders of the people of the district, meaning Banu Abd al-Ashhal, saying: Abu al-Haytham b. al-Tayhan died in Madinah in the year twenty.
