أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ثنا أَحْمَدُ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ ثنا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ
ذَكَرَ عُمَرُ فَضْلَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَجَعَلَ يَصِفُ مَا فِيهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «وَهَذَا سَيِّدُنَا بِلَالٌ حَسَنَةٌ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
