حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ بَالَوَيْهِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثنا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ
«وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ صُعَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي صُعَيْرٍ الْعَدَوِيُّ وُلِدَ قَبْلَ الْهِجْرَةِ بِأَرْبَعِ سِنِينَ وَحُمِلَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَمَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ وَبَرَّكَ عَلَيْهِ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ وَتُوُفِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَتُوُفِّيَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ وَكُنْيَتُهُ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ سَنَةَ تِسْعَ وَثَمَانِينَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَتِسْعِينَ سَنَةً»
Translation

✧ Abdullah b. Tha'labah b. Su'ayr b. Abi Su'ayr al-Adawi was born four years before the Hijrah. He was carried to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who wiped his face and blessed him in the year of the conquest. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ died when he was fourteen. Abdullah b. Tha'labah died, and his kunyah was Abu Muhammad, in the year eighty-nine, at the age of ninety-three.
