✧ He asked the Prophet ﷺ: 'How does revelation come to you?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Like the ringing of a bell, and when it departs from me, I have retained what he said. That is the hardest upon me. Sometimes the angel comes to me in the form of a man and speaks to me, and I retain what he says.' I do not know anyone who said in this hadith from Aisha from al-Harith other than Amir b. Salih. The companions of Hisham narrated it from his father from Aisha that al-Harith b. Hisham asked the hadith.
