أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ
أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَفِي يَدِهِ خَاتَمٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا هَذَا الْخَاتَمُ؟» فَقَالَ خَاتَمٌ اتَّخَذْتُهُ قَالَ «فَاطْرَحْهُ» فَطَرَحْتُهُ إِلَيْهِ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا نَقَشْتَهُ؟» قُلْتُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَتَخَتَّمَ بِهِ حَتَّى مَاتَ فَهُوَ الْخَاتَمُ الَّذِي كَانَ فِي يَدِهِ «صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» يحيى الحماني ضعيف

✧ He came to the Prophet ﷺ with a ring on his hand. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, 'What is this ring?' He said, 'A ring I have taken.' He said, 'Throw it away.' So I threw it to him, and it was a ring of iron. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'What did you engrave on it?' I said, 'Muhammad, Messenger of Allah.' The Prophet ﷺ took it and wore it until he died. It is the ring that was on his hand. 'Sahih al-isnad, but they did not record it.' Yahya al-Himmani is weak.
