✧ “Among those who witnessed Badr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Quraysh and the Ansar were three hundred and thirteen men.” He said: “And from the Banu Abd al-Muttalib b. Abd Manaf were Ubaydah, al-Tufayl, and Husayn, the sons of al-Harith b. Abd al-Muttalib. They differed about Rabiah b. al-Harith: it was said that he lived after that and lived to the days of Umar b. al-Khattab and narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
