أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْقَنْطَرِيُّ بِبَرَدَانَ ثنا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ
«غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ وَمَعَ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ تِسْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ كَانَ يُؤَمَّرُهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَيْنَا» صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ هو في البخاري في الثلاثيات

✧ I participated in seven campaigns with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and nine campaigns with Zayd b. Haritha. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to appoint him as our commander. It is authentic according to the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not include it. It is in al-Bukhari among the three-narrator chains.
