أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ السَّمَّاكِ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ اللَّهَبِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ حَرَامِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَغَرِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ

خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُرِيدُ بِنْتَ حَمْزَةَ قَبِيصَةَ حَتَّى وَقَفَ عَلَى الْبَابِ فَقَالَ «السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَثَمَّ أَبُو عُمَارَةَ؟» قَالَ فَقَالَتْ لَا وَاللَّهِ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي خَرَجَ عَامِدًا نَحْوَكَ فَأَظُنُّهُ أَخْطَأَكَ فِي بَعْضِ أَزِقَّةِ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ أَفَلَا تَدْخُلُ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «فَهَلْ عِنْدَكِ شَيْءٌ؟» قَالَتْ نَعَمْ فَدَخَلَ فَقَرَّبَتْ إِلَيْهِ حَيْسًا فَقَالَتْ كُلْ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَنِيئًا لَكَ وَمَرِيئًا فَقَدْ جِئْتَ وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ آتِيَكَ وَأُهْنِيئَكَ وَأُمْرِئَكَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عُمَارَةَ أَنَّكَ أُعْطِيتَ نَهَرًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ يُدْعَى الْكَوْثَرُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «وَآنِيَتُهُ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ عَدَدِ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ وَأَحَبُّ وَارِدِهِ عَلَيَّ قَوْمُكِ» صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out intending to visit Hamza's daughter Qabisa, until he stood at the door and said, "Peace be upon you. Is Abu Umara there?" She said, "No, by Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you. He went out intending to come to you, and I think he missed you in one of the alleys of Banu al-Najjar. Will you not enter, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Do you have anything?" She said, "Yes." So he entered, and she brought him some hays and said, "Eat, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah, may it be wholesome and pleasant for you. You have come while I wanted to come to you to congratulate you and wish you well. Abu Umara told me that you have been given a river in Paradise called al-Kawthar." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "And its vessels are more numerous than the stars of the sky, and the most beloved of those who come to it to me are your people." Sahih isnad, but they did not include it.
