حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنِ أَبُوْ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ

كَانَ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ يُقَاتِلُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَيَقُولُ أَنَا أَسَدُ اللَّهِ «صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» صحيح

✧ On the day of Uhud, Hamza b. Abd al-Muttalib was fighting in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, saying, "I am the lion of Allah." [Sahih according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs, but they did not include it.] Sahih.
