حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَزَوَّرِ عَنِ الْأَصْبَغِ بْنِ نُبَاتَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

«إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْخَلْقِ يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُهُمُ اللَّهُ الرُّسُلُ وَأَفْضَلَ النَّاسِ بَعْدَ الرُّسُلِ الشُّهَدَاءُ وَإِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الشُّهَدَاءِ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ»
