حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

«تَجَهَّزَ سَعْدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ لِيَخْرُجَ إِلَى بَدْرٍ فَمَرِضَ فَمَاتَ فَمَوْضِعُ قَبْرِهِ عِنْدَ دَارِ ابْنِ قَارِظٍ فَضَرَبَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِسَهْمِهِ وَأَجْرِهِ»

✧ Sa'd b. Malik prepared to go out to Badr, but he fell ill and died. The place of his grave is near the house of Ibn Qariz. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ assigned him his share and his reward.
