حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الشَّافِعِيُّ مِنْ أَصْلِ كِتَابِهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السَّبِيعِيُّ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ ثنا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ابْنُ أَخِي طَاهِرٍ الْعَقِيقِيِّ الْعَلَوِيِّ فِي كِتَابِ النَّسَبِ ثنا جَدِّي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْآدَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْأَحْمَسِيُّ مِنْ كِتَابِ التَّارِيخِ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْعَنْقَزِيُّ وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي حَدَّثَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ التَّمَّارُ ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْعَزْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَزَّارُ ثنا كَثِيرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَبُو أَنَسٍ الْكُوفِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

أَوْحَى اللَّهُ تَعَالَى إِلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ إِنِّي قَتَلْتُ بِيَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا وَإِنِّي قَاتِلٌ بِابْنِ ابْنَتِكَ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا وَسَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا

✧ “Allah, the Most High, revealed to Muhammad ﷺ that I have killed seventy thousand through Yahya bin Zakariyya and I will kill seventy thousand through the son of your granddaughter. This is the wording of the narration of Ash-Shafi'i. And in the narration of Al-Qadi Abu Bakr bin Kamal, I have killed in revenge for the blood of Yahya bin Zakariyya, and I will kill in revenge for the blood of the son of your granddaughter.”

  • هَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ الشَّافِعِيِّ وَفِي حَدِيثِ الْقَاضِي أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ إِنِّي قَتَلْتُ عَلَى دَمِ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا وَإِنِّي قَاتِلٌ عَلَى دَمِ ابْنِ ابْنَتِكَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط مسلم

    machine translationThis is the wording of the hadith of al-Shāfiʿī. In the hadith of al-Qāḍī Abū Bakr b. Kāmil: "I killed on account of the blood of Yaḥyā b. Zakariyyā, and I will kill on account of the blood of your daughter's son." This is a hadith with a sound chain (ṣaḥīḥ al-isnād), and they (al-Bukhārī and Muslim) did not record it, [and it meets] the condition of Muslim.
