أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمُزَكِّي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

«وَلَدَتْ فَاطِمَةُ حُسَيْنًا بَعْدَ الْحَسَنِ لِسَنَةٍ وَعَشَرَةِ أَشْهُرٍ فَوَلَدَتْهُ لِسِتِّ سِنِينَ وَخَمْسَةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَنِصْفٍ مِنَ التَّارِيخِ وَقُتِلَ الْحُسَيْنُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ لِعَشْرٍ مَضَيْنَ مِنَ الْمُحَرَّمِ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى وَسِتِّينَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعٍ وَخَمْسِينَ سَنَةً» وَقَدْ ذَكَرْتُ هَذِهِ الْأَخْبَارَ بِشَرْحِهَا فِي كِتَابِ مَقْتَلِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَفِيهِ كِفَايَةٌ لِمَنْ سَمِعَهُ وَوَعَاهُ حذفه الذهبي من التلخيص لضعفه

  1. Abū Isḥāq Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad b. Yaḥyá al-Muzakkī

✧ "Fatimah gave birth to Husayn after Hasan by one year and ten months. She gave birth to him five months and a half into the sixth year of the Hijrah. Husayn was killed on Friday, the day of Ashura, ten days into Muharram in the year sixty-one, at the age of fifty-four years." I have mentioned these reports with their explanation in the Book of the Maqtal of al-Husayn, in which there is sufficiency for whoever hears and understands it. Al-Dhahabi omitted it from the Talkhis due to its weakness.
