✧ That Fatimah, when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ died, used to say: 'O my father, how near he is to his Lord! O my father, the Gardens of Eternity are his abode. O my father, his Lord honors him when he comes to Him. O my father, the Lord and His messengers greet him when they meet him.' When Fatimah died, Ali b. Abi Talib said: '[Al-Bahr al-Tawil] For every meeting of two close friends there is a parting, and everything short of parting is little. And my losing one after another is a proof that no close friend lasts forever.'
