✧ The merits of Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُكْرَمُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفُ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «يَا فَاطِمَةُ وَاللَّهِ مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْكِ وَاللَّهِ مَا كَانَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ بَعْدَ أَبِيكِ ﷺ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنْكِ»

✧ He entered upon Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and said, "O Fatimah, by Allah, I have not seen anyone more beloved to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than you, and by Allah, no one among the people after your father ﷺ is more beloved to me than you."
