✧ A man from the extremists called out to Ali while he was in prayer, the dawn prayer, reciting: 'And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you associate others with Allah, your work will surely become worthless, and you will surely be among the losers' (Quran 39:65). Ali answered him while in prayer: 'So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let not those who have no certainty make you impatient' (Quran 30:60). 'These are hadiths with sound chains of narrators but are not musnad, so I judged them according to what the convention requires.' Al-Dhahabi omitted it from the Talkhis due to its weakness.
