أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزَّاهِدُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ السُّلَمِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ قَالَ

قَالُوا لِأَبِي يَا مَهْدِيُّ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ قَالَ «سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمْ عَنْ هَذَا؟ إِنَّمَا الْمَهْدِيُّ مَنْ هَدَى اللَّهُ ﷻ»
