حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى قَالَ
لَمَّا جَاءُوا بِابْنِ مُلْجَمٍ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ قَالَ «اصْنَعُوا بِهِ مَا صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ جُعِلَ لَهُ عَلَى أَنْ يَقْتُلَهُ فَأَمَرَ أَنْ يُقْتَلَ وَيُحَرَّقَ بِالنَّارِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
