✧ We were sitting around the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in his mosque when he said: 'You will certainly follow the ways of those before you, just as one sandal matches the other, and you will take exactly as they took, if a span then a span, if a cubit then a cubit, if a fathom then a fathom, so much so that if they entered the hole of a lizard, you would enter it. Verily, the Children of Israel split concerning Moses into seventy-one sects, all of them astray except one sect: Islam and their community. And they split concerning Jesus son of Mary into seventy-one sects, all of them astray except one sect: Islam and their community. Then they will be upon seventy-two sects, all of them astray except one sect: Islam and their community.' End of the Book of Knowledge.
