✧ One day a man gave Abu Bakr a bowl of khazirah as a gift. With him was a man called al-Harith b. Kaladah, who had knowledge. When they had eaten from it, Ibn Kaladah said, "In it is a poison that acts within a year." By the One in whose hand is my soul, a year had not passed before they both died on the same day, at the head of the year.
