أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْمُرْتَعِدِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ثنا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَزَّتْهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَسْمَعُونَ الْحِسَّ وَلَا يَرَوْنَ الشَّخْصَ فَقَالَتِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ إِنَّ فِي اللَّهِ عَزَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ مُصِيبَةٍ وَخَلَفًا مِنْ كُلِّ فَائِتٍ فَبِاللَّهِ فَثِقُوا وَإِيَّاهُ فَارْجُوا فَإِنَّمَا الْمَحْرُومُ مَنْ حُرِمَ الثَّوَابُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ died, angels offered them condolences; they heard the voice but did not see the person. They said: "Peace be upon you, O people of the household, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. In Allah there is consolation for every calamity and a replacement for every loss. So trust in Allah and hope in Him. The truly deprived is the one deprived of reward. Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings."

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» صحيح
