حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَشْعَثِيُّ ثنا عَبْثَرُ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ

أُغْمِيَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَوَاحَةَ فَجَعَلَتْ أُخْتُهُ عَمْرَةُ تَبْكِي وَا أُخَيَّاهُ وَا كَذَا وَا كَذَا تُعَدِّدُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ حِينَ أَفَاقَ مَا قُلْتِ شَيْئًا إِلَّا قِيلَ لِي أَنْتَ كَذَلِكَ

✧ Abdullah b. Rawaha fainted, and his sister Amra began weeping, saying, 'O my brother, O such and such,' enumerating his qualities. When he regained consciousness, he said, 'You did not say anything except that it was said to me: You are like that.'
