al-Mustadrak (al-Hakim) 4202

✧ News of the Master of Messengers and Seal of Prophets, Muhammad son of Abdullah son of Abdul-Muttalib, the Chosen one, may Allah's blessings be upon him and his pure family.

أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَحْمَسِيُّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

«مَا كَانَ فِي رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَّا شَعَرَاتٌ بِيضٌ فِي مَفْرِقِ رَأْسِهِ إِذَا أَدْهَنَ وَارَاهُنَّ الدُّهْنَ»

✧ There were only a few white hairs on the head of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, at the parting of his hair. When he applied oil, the oil concealed them.
