حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ أَنْبَأَ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ لَمْ يَرْفَعْ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا رَأْسَهُ غَيْرُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ فَإِنَّهُمَا كَانَا يَتَبَسَّمَانِ إِلَيْهِ وَيَتَبَسَّمُ إِلَيْهِمَا»

✧ "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque, none of us would raise his head except Abu Bakr and Umar, for they would smile at him and he would smile at them."
