✧ Job, the prophet of Allah, remained in his affliction for fifteen years; relatives and strangers abandoned him except two men from his brothers, who were among his closest brothers. They used to come to him morning and evening. One day one of them said to his companion: "By Allah, we know that Job has committed a sin that no one in the worlds has committed." His companion said to him: "And what is that?" He said: "For eighteen years Allah has not had mercy on him and removed what he has." When they went to Job, the man could not restrain himself until he mentioned that to him. Job said to him: "I do not know what you are saying, except that Allah knows that I used to pass by two men disputing and mentioning Allah, and I would return to my house and make expiation for them, disliking that Allah be mentioned except in truth." And he used to go out for his need, and when he finished his need, his wife would hold his hand until he reached home. One day he was late for her, and Allah revealed to Job in his place: "Strike with your foot; this is a cool bathing place and a drink." She found him late and went to meet him, and he came to her, Allah having removed the affliction from him, and he was the most handsome he had ever been. When she saw him, she said: "O you, may Allah bless you, have you seen the prophet of Allah, this afflicted one? By Allah, I have never seen a man more resembling him than you when he was healthy." He said: "I am he." He said: He had two threshing floors, one for wheat and one for barley. Allah sent two clouds: when one was over the wheat threshing floor, it poured gold into it until it overflowed, and the other poured silver into the barley threshing floor until it overflowed.
