✧ «Indeed Allah sent Salih to his people when he had reached the age of puberty. He was a man reddish tending to whiteness, with lank hair. He used to walk barefoot as 'Isa son of Maryam (peace be upon them both) did, not taking sandals, nor anointing himself, nor taking a house or dwelling. He remained with his Lord's she-camel: wherever she turned he turned with her, and wherever she halted he halted with her. He had fasted forty days before the she-camel was hamstrung. On his right hand there was a mole as a sign. He stayed among them forty years calling them to Allah from when he was a lad until he became gray-haired, while they only increased in tyranny.»
