حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَطَّةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ التَّمِيمِيُّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْوَاقِدِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي شُرَيْحُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ قَالَ

وَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدَهُ عَلَى رَأْسِي فَقَالَ «هَذَا الْغُلَامُ يَعِيشُ قَرْنًا» قَالَ فَعَاشَ مِائَةَ سَنَةٍ قَالَ الْوَاقِدِيُّ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ ﷻ {وَقُرُونًا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ كَثِيرًا} [الفرقان 38] فَكَانَ بَيْنَ نُوحٍ وَآدَمَ عَشَرَةُ قُرُونٍ وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَشَرَةُ قُرُونٍ فَوُلِدَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ خَلِيلُ اللَّهِ عَلَى رَأْسِ أَلْفَيْ سَنَةٍ مِنْ خَلْقِ آدَمَسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his hand on my head and said: "This boy will live a century." He said: So he lived a hundred years. Al-Waqidi said: Allah ﷻ says: {And many generations between that} [Al-Furqan: 38]. So there were ten generations between Nuh and Adam, and between him and Ibrahim were ten generations. Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah, was born at the beginning of two thousand years from the creation of Adam. Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
