al-Mustadrak (al-Hakim) 4014

✧ Prophet Idris ﷺ

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْإِسْفَرَايِينِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الْمُنْعِمِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ

أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ مَنْ هُوَ وَفِي أَيِّ زَمَانٍ هُوَ؟ قَالَ «هُوَ جَدُّ نُوحٍ الَّذِي يُقَالُ لَهُ خَنُوخُ وَهُوَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ حَيٌّ»

Translation

✧ He was asked about Idris: who is he, and in what time was he? He said: "He is the grandfather of Nuh, who is called Khanukh, and he is alive in Paradise."
