✧ While Abu Bakr al-Siddiq was eating lunch with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, this verse was revealed: {So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it} [al-Zalzalah:8]. Abu Bakr stopped and said, “O Messenger of Allah, will we see every evil we have done?” He said, “What you see of what you dislike is how you are repaid. Good is deferred for its recipients in the Hereafter.” Its chain is authentic, but they did not include it. It is mursal.
