حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ السَّهْمِيُّ ثنا أَبِي وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالُوا ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْوِتْرِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَفِي الثَّانِيَةِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَفِي الثَّالِثَةِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to recite in Witr prayer, in the first Rak'ah, "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High." In the second Rak'ah, he would recite "Say: O disbelievers." In the third Rak'ah, he would recite "Say: He is Allah, the One" and "Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak." Lastly, he would recite "Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind."
