حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَلْجٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {لَابِثِينَ فِيهَا أَحْقَابًا} [النبأ 23] قَالَ «الْحُقْبُ ثَمَانُونَ سَنَةً»

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ Regarding His, the Exalted's, saying: {They will remain therein for ages} [al-Nabaʾ: 23], he said: “An age (ḥuqb) is eighty years.”
