✧ Ishaq narrated to us, Abd al-Razzaq informed us, Ma'mar informed us, from al-A'mash, from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq, that Ibn Mas'ud said regarding His saying, exalted is He: {Except the small faults} [An-Najm 32]: 'The adultery of the eyes is looking, the adultery of the lips is kissing, the adultery of the hands is touching, and the adultery of the feet is walking. The private part confirms that or denies it. If he proceeds with his private part, he is an adulterer; otherwise, it is a small fault.'
