✧ What do you say about the saying of Allah ﷻ {Indeed, those who say, 'Our Lord is Allah' and then remain steadfast} [Fussilat: 30] and His saying, exalted is He, {Those who believe and do not mix their faith with wrongdoing} [Al-An'am: 82]? They said: "Those who say, 'Our Lord is Allah' and then remain steadfast and do not turn away." And His saying, "and do not mix their faith with wrongdoing" means with sin. Then Abu Bakr said: "You have interpreted it in a way other than its correct interpretation. 'Then remain steadfast' means they did not turn to any deity other than Him, and 'do not mix their faith with wrongdoing' means with shirk."
