حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ثنا شَرِيكُ بْنُ أَبِي نَمِرٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ فِي بَيْتِي نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ {إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ} [الأحزاب 33] قَالَتْ فَأَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ وَفَاطِمَةَ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ أَجْمَعِينَ فَقَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ هَؤُلَاءِ أَهْلُ بَيْتِي» قَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا أَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ؟ قَالَ «إِنَّكِ أَهْلِي خَيْرٌ وَهَؤُلَاءِ أَهْلُ بَيْتِي اللَّهُمَّ أَهْلِي أَحَقُّ»

✧ She said in my house that this verse was revealed: "Indeed, Allah intends to keep away the impurity from you, O people of the household" [Surah Al-Ahzab 33]. She said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent for Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husain, and said, "O Allah, these are the people of my household." Umm Salamah said, "O Messenger of Allah, am I not one of the people of the household?" He replied, "You are of my family, but the people of my household have more right to be considered as such."
