أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْخَطْمِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ حَاتِمِ بْنِ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ
سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ {وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنْكَرَ} [العنكبوت 29] قَالَ «كَانُوا يَخْذِفُونَ أَهْلَ الطَّرِيقِ وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْ فَهُوَ الْمُنْكَرُ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَأْتُونَ» صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم

✧ I asked the Prophet ﷺ about the words of Allah, Exalted is He, {And you commit in your assemblies the evil deed} [Al-Ankabut 29]. He said: "They used to pelt the people on the road with pebbles and mock them. That is the evil deed they used to commit." Sahih according to the condition of Muslim, but they did not record it.
