✧ “Do you know why I walked with you?” They said, “Yes, we are the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ; you walked with us.” He said, “You are going to come to the people of a town who have a humming with the Quran like the humming of bees. Do not begin with them with hadiths, lest they occupy you. Strip down to the Quran and reduce narration from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Go on, and I am your partner.” When Qarazah arrived, they said, “Narrate to us.” He said, “Ibn al-Khattab forbade us.”
