حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَطَاءٍ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى {وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُ زَوْجَهُ} [الأنبياء 90] قَالَ «كَانَ فِي لِسَانِ امْرَأَةِ زَكَرِيَّا طُولٌ فَأَصْلَحَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى»

Translation

✧ From Ibn ʿAbbas regarding the words of Allah, exalted is He: {And We set right for him his wife} [Al-Anbiya: 90] – he said: "There was a length in the tongue of Zakariyya's wife, and Allah, exalted is He, set it right."
