أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي مَسَرَّةَ ثنا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ الْحَبْحَابِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكِ قَالَ
أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِقِنَاعٍ مِنْ بُسْرٍ «فَقَرَأَ» مَثَلُ كَلِمَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ قَالَ «هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought a basket of unripe dates and he recited: "The example of a good word is like a good tree." He said, "It is the date-palm."
