حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَطَرٍ وَأَنَا سَأَلْتُهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ نَصْرٍ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ عَنْ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ
أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَرَاكَ قَدْ شِبْتَ قَالَ «شَيَّبَتْنِي هُودٌ وَالْوَاقِعَةُ وَعَمَّ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ وَإِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ»

✧ Abu Bakr al-Siddiq said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "I see that you have aged." He said, "Sura Hud, al-Waqi'ah, 'Amma Yatasa'alun, and Idha al-Shamsu Kuwwirat have caused my hair to turn grey."
