أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَافِظُ بِهَمْدَانَ ثنا عُمَيْرُ بْنُ مِرْدَاسٍ ثنا مُطَرِّفُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ثنا سَحْبَلٌ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

تَلَاحَى رَجُلَانِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي أُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقْوَى فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا هُوَ مَسْجِدُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ هُوَ مَسْجِدُ قُبَاءَ فَتَسَاوَقَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَسَأَلَاهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْمَسْجِدُ الَّذِي أُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقْوَى هُوَ مَسْجِدِي 60 هَذَا» إسناده جيد

✧ Two men argued about the mosque founded on piety. One said, “It is the mosque of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ,” and the other said, “It is the mosque of Quba.” They hastened to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about that. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “The mosque founded on piety is this mosque of mine.” Its chain is good.
