✧ Explanation of Surah al-Baqarah

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْقَنَّادُ ثنا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ {الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهِ} [البقرة 121] قَالَ «يُحِلُّونَ حَلَالَهُ وَيُحَرِّمُونَ حَرَامَهُ وَلَا يُحَرِّفُونَهُ عَنْ مَوَاضِعِهِ»

✧ Regarding the saying of Allah, may He be glorified and exalted: {Those to whom We gave the Book recite it as it should be recited} [Al-Baqarah 121]. He said: “They make lawful its lawful and forbid its forbidden, and they do not distort it from its proper places.”

  • هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح
