✧ Allah brought Adam out of the Garden before anyone entered it. Allah, the Exalted, said: {Indeed, I am placing a vicegerent on the earth. They said: Will You place upon it one who will cause corruption therein and shed blood?} [al-Baqarah:30]. And there had been on it, two thousand years before he was created, the jinn, the Banu al-Jan. They caused corruption on the earth and shed blood. So when Allah, the Exalted, said: {Indeed, I am placing a vicegerent on the earth. They said: Will You place upon it one who will cause corruption therein and shed blood?} [al-Baqarah:30], meaning the jinn, the Banu al-Jan. When they caused corruption on the earth, He sent against them armies of angels, and they struck them until they drove them to the islands of the seas. He said: The angels said: {Will You place upon it one who will cause corruption therein} [al-Baqarah:30] as those jinn, the Banu al-Jan, did? He said: Allah said: {Indeed, I know what you do not know} [al-Baqarah:30].
