حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْفَقِيهُ بِبُخَارَى نا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَافِظُ نا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالُوا نا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«وَلَدُ الزِّنَا شَرُّ الثَّلَاثَةِ» قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ «لَأَنْ أُمَتَّعَ بِسَوْطٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ وَلَدَ زِنْيَةٍ»

✧ 'The child of adultery is the worst of the three.' Abu Hurayrah said: 'To be provided with a whip in the way of Allah is more beloved to me than to free a child of adultery.'
