✧ As for the narration of Abu al-Jahm, from al-Bara'

فَحَدَّثَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي قَالَا نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ نا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ غَيْلَانَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ أَسْلَمَ وَعِنْدَهُ عَشْرُ نِسْوَةٍ «فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَخْتَارَ مِنْهُنَّ أَرْبَعًا»
