أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ وَثِيمَةَ الْبَصْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«إِذَا أَتَاكُمْ مَنْ تَرْضَوْنَ خُلُقَهُ وَدِينَهُ فَأَنْكِحُوهُ أَلَّا تَفْعَلُوا تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌ عَرِيضٌ»

Translation

✧ If someone whose character and religion please you comes to you, then marry him. If you do not, there will be tribulation on earth and widespread corruption.
