أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عِيسَى ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ثنا أَبِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ

مَا رَأَيْتُ مِثْلَ مَا رَغِبَتْ عَنْهُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةُ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {وَإِنْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اقْتَتَلُوا فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا فَإِنْ بَغَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى فَقَاتِلُوا الَّتِي تَبْغِي حَتَّى تَفِيءَ إِلَى أَمْرِ اللَّهِ}

✧ I have not seen the like of what this nation turned away from of this verse: {And if two parties of the believers fight, make peace between them; but if one of them transgresses against the other, fight the one that transgresses until it returns to Allah’s command}.

  • This ḥadīth is Ṣaḥīḥ according to the criteria of Muslim but he did not collect it.

  • [الحجرات 9] «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ»
