أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى أَنْبَأَ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوْصِنِي قَالَ «أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ» فَلَمَّا مَضَى قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ»

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ intending to travel and said, “Messenger of Allah, advise me.” He said, “I advise you to fear Allah and to say Allahu akbar upon every rise.” When he had gone, he said, “O Allah, fold up the earth for him and make the journey easy for him.”
