حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ خَيْرِ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً فَأَتَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ بَعَثْتَ هَذِهِ السَّرِيَّةَ وَإِنَّ زَوْجِي خَرَجَ فِيهَا وَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَصُومُ بِصِيَامِهِ وَأُصَلِّي بِصَلَاتِهِ وَأَتَعَبَّدُ بِعِبَادَتِهِ فَدُلَّنِي عَلَى عَمَلٍ أَبْلُغُ بِهِ عَمَلَهُ قَالَ «تُصَلِّينَ فَلَا تَقْعُدِينَ وَتَصُومِينَ فَلَا تُفْطِرِينَ وَتَذْكُرِينَ فَلَا تَفْتُرِينَ» قَالَتْ وَأُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «وَلَوْ طِقْتِ ذَلِكَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا بَلَغْتِ الْعَشِيرَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ dispatched a military detachment, and a woman came to him and said: “O Messenger of Allah, you sent out this detachment, and my husband went out with it. I used to keep the same fasts as him, perform the same prayers as him, and engage in worship as he did. So guide me to a deed by which I may attain the like of his deed.” He said: “You would have to pray continuously without sitting, fast continuously without breaking your fast, and remember Allah without flagging.” She said: “And can I bear that, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “Even if you could bear that—by the One in whose hand is my soul—you would not attain a tenth of his deed.”

  • هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح
