أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ الْقُرَشِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَسْمَعُ مِنْكَ أَشْيَاءَ أَخَافُ أَنْ أَنْسَاهَا أَفَتَأْذَنُ لِي أَنْ أَكْتُبَهَا؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قَالَ فَكَانَ فِيمَا كَتَبَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا بَعَثَ عَتَّابَ بْنَ أُسَيْدٍ إِلَى أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ قَالَ «أَخْبِرْهُمْ أَنَّهُ لَا يَجُوزُ بَيْعَانِ فِي بَيْعٍ وَلَا بَيْعُ مَا لَا يَمْلِكُ وَلَا سَلَفٌ وَبَيْعٌ وَلَا شَرْطَانِ فِي بَيْعٍ»

✧ I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I hear things from you that I fear I may forget. Will you permit me to write them down?" He said, "Yes." He said, "Among what he wrote from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was that when he sent 'Attab b. Usayd to the people of Makkah, he said: 'Tell them that two sales in one sale are not valid, nor selling what one does not own, nor a loan and a sale, nor two conditions in a sale.'"
