machine translationThis ḥadīth has a sound chain (ṣaḥīḥ al-isnād), though the two (al-Bukhārī and Muslim) did not include it in their collections. Ibn Abī Dhiʾb narrated it from Makhlad b. Khufāf, from ʿUrwah, from ʿĀʾishah, in abridged form. Authentic (ṣaḥīḥ).
